Stone Repair Mortars & Shelter Coats

Stone repair mortars are usually a combination of lime putty, sand and stone dust in various grades. It is used for the repair of decayed or damaged stone to match the colour and texture of the stone as closely as possible. Shelter coats are produced using a fine lime, stone dust and on occasions fine sand to consolidate the surface of the stone and act as a wearing protective coat.
